Itinerary Details

DAY 1 : NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport-Darjeeling

On arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport you will be received by our office executive who will assist you to board your vehicle to Darjeeling. Upon arrival, check-in at the hotel. The evening is free for leisure. Over night stay at hotel in Darjeeling.

DAY 2 : Darjeeling Sightseeing

Early morning excursion to Tiger Hill (8364 Ft / 2550 Mts) at around 3:45 am for viewing sunrise over Kanchendzonga Peak (if the weather is favorable), while returning visit to Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop. After Breakfast at hotel you will depart for half day city tour of Darjeeling. This Includes Sight seeing at Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on thursday) Ropeway, Tenzing and Gombu Rock, Tibetan Refugee Self-Help Center (closed on Sunday), Tea Estate, Natural History Museum (closed on Sundays), Peace Pagoda. Overnight stay in Darjeeling.

DAY 3 : Darjeeling -Gangtok

After breakfast at hotel, you head towards Gangtok.Evening Overnight stay at hotel in Gangtok.

DAY 4 : Gangtok Sightseeing

After breakfast at hotel you will depart for full day city tour of Gangtok. This includes Full day sight seeing which includes Hanuman Talk, Ganesh Talk & Tashi View Point, Later visit Research Institute of Tibetology (Closed on Sunday & govt. Holidays), Do-Drul Chorten, Directorate of Handicrafts & Handloom (Closed on Sunday & Govt. Holidays), Flower Show. Overnight stay at Gangtok.

DAY 5 : Excursion to Tshangu Lake and Baba Mandir

After breakfast, in the morning, start for excursion to Tshangu Lake (12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way from Gangtok) & through Kyongnosla Alpine Sanctuary and Baba Mandir (13100Ft / 3994 Mts / 16Kms in 1Hrs one way from Tshangu Lake) (no entry for foreigner national, they are allowed to visit till Tshangu Lake, with a valid permit. They also have to be 02 & above is number to visit Tshangu Lake). Situated at a height of 12400Ft / 3780 Mts / 43Kms in 3Hrs one way, with an average depth of 50 ft. The cool water of the Lake is perfectly attuned with the scenic beauty around. Back to Gangtok and Overnight at Hotel.

DAY 6 : Gangtok- NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

After breakfast at hotel transfer to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport for your onward journey. As you go home let the everlasting memory of the radiant Himalayas and this beautiful serene place linger in your mind and prompt you now and again to revisit this place.
